After our last wash up meeting of Hospitality & Food magazine we came to the conclusion that we wanted the layout to be less templated, a bit more fluid and more conscious of the ads and pages next to them. This issue took a bit longer than usual as I had to retrain my design brain to adjust/create this different style whilst trying to make sure both magazines had their own voice. Basically I looked at all different magazines and tried to pull all the amazing things I saw and rework them all together to create this. Really proud of this issue.

Apparently someone at a workplace won an unfair dismissal case after they stole Milo from their work. Well my editor ran to shops bought a tin of Milo and we had all these crazy ideas of have milo powder flying everywhere. But when in our company kitchen, this shot just came to me, so I grabbed David Strong salesman extrodinaire to model in my mini shoot.
Made this grungy and dirty to replicate the instragram filters and the pornographic nature of the photos.
